Praise the heavens above! It’s officially spring! I have never been so happy to see the snow melt and watch the little buds on the trees blossom into beautiful flowers and fresh green leaves. At the start of this season full of new life, I’ve been extending my spring cleaning into many different areas of my lifestyle. I’ve really felt God speaking simplicity into my heart, and have drawn wisdom from the scripture in Alma 37:6 that reads: “By small and simple things are great things brought to pass; and small means in many instances doth confound the wise.” As I’ve tried to simplify my life and slow down, I’ve felt the power, peace, and joy that comes from doing small and simple things. Bring On The Baked Goods! Y’all, it is mid-December and the festivities have begun! If you were to step inside our house this holiday season you would find a lot of sweets and chocolate, cozy blankets and Christmas decor, and a bunch of little eskimos because our Dad refuses to turn up the heat. There’s
This year will be my 25th Christmas; my GOLDEN Christmas! 25 years of giving and receiving gifts, singing Christmas songs, and experiencing the magic of Christmas morning with my brothers and sisters. As I get older, I find that what I love most are the feelings of sweet peace and joy only Jesus Christ can
Happy Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving has to be one of my favorite holidays of the year as it is a time we reflect on our bounteous blessings God has given us! It’s a time for family gatherings and great food and is the passageway to the beautiful holiday season. Gordon B. Hinckley said, “Gratitude creates the most
Thanksgiving is HERE!!! Last week a friend asked me what my biggest pet peeve was… I think I’m the weirdest person in the world (unless by some miracle someone can relate to me) because I literally go low-key insane when I’m expected to sit and eat at an un-set table. I told you- weird. BUT
